Fashion details change how a scrub works
Princess seams, curved necklines, knit panels, contrast hardware and tapered legs can make a uniform look less boxy. Each detail also changes fit. A shaped top may need more careful bust and hip measurements. A metal zipper or decorative pull can add weight. A close jogger can restrict the calf even when the waist fits.
Try the top with both arms fully forward and overhead. The hem should not climb enough to expose the waist, and the neckline should remain within workplace policy. On pants, sit and take a long stride. Look for horizontal pulling at the hip or knee.
Stretch should support movement, not hide a size problem
HeartSoul describes its fabrics as four-way stretch. Stretch can improve mobility, but it should not be used to justify a garment that is visibly strained. If the pocket openings gape, the side seams shift forward or the fabric becomes noticeably sheer, choose another size or cut.
A softer, more elastic fabric can also react to pocket weight. Test the garment with your phone, badge reel and usual small tools. A sleek silhouette that drops at the waist after loading is not practical for that carry pattern.

Top length matters too. A shorter shaped top can work well untucked, but it needs to stay covered when reaching. A longer top may bunch at the hip when sitting. Compare finished garment length with a scrub top you already wear comfortably.
Wash and construction checks
Follow the product-specific care label, not a generic brand routine. Turn garments inside out before washing when decorative hardware or contrast surfaces are present. Inspect seam joins, zipper ends, pocket corners and knit panels after the first wash.
