White, black, and grey are the safest shoe colors with black scrubs. They keep the look clean and pass most dress codes, while a brighter shoe reads as a deliberate accent.

Neither extreme lasts a full shift. A structured tapered cut gives you room through the thigh and seat but stays narrow at the ankle, so you get the comfort of loose with the cleaner line of slim.

A thin, moisture-wicking tee or fitted tank close to your skin tone, with a seamless or sports bra. Check your unit first: some enforce bare-below-the-elbows, which rules out long sleeves during patient care.

They sort into about seven cuts: straight leg, bootcut, flare, wide leg, jogger, cargo, and legging hybrids. The right one depends on your shift and dress code, not the trend.
