Medline, AngelStat and AVE Scrubs Review: Lines, Fit and Value

Folded light blue scrub set prepared for a practical brand comparison

Medline's scrub lines serve different jobs: AngelStat is a cotton-rich institutional classic, AVE is a four-way-stretch fashion line, ComfortEase is a polyester-cotton value option, and PerforMax targets lightweight operating-room use. Comparing them as one product would be misleading.

EIPNARE has not wear-tested these Medline lines. This review uses Medline's current catalog and discloses that EIPNARE also sells scrubs. EIPNARE customer records are used only to identify the fit and fabric questions that deserve attention.

AngelStat

Medline currently describes AngelStat as a 55% cotton and 45% polyester line that softens with washing and is designed to withstand industrial laundering. It includes reversible unisex styles and women's pieces across a broad size range.

A reversible unisex set can simplify an institutional program, but it may feel straight or roomy on some bodies. Check shoulder, rise, inseam and pocket access rather than sizing down from appearance alone.

AVE

AVE uses a listed 72% polyester, 23% rayon and 5% spandex four-way-stretch fabric. The collection emphasizes shaped, fashion-forward styles and at-home care. A closer fit requires more precise bust, hip and thigh measurements.

Test the fabric under movement and pocket load. Stretch should return without rippling, and the waistband should remain secure after a phone or tools are added.

ComfortEase and PerforMax

ComfortEase is described as a 65% polyester and 35% cotton wrinkle-resistant value line intended to handle industrial washing. PerforMax is listed as a lightweight 100% polyester range with faster-drying claims and operating-room positioning.

Facility buyers should verify AORN or laundry requirements against the exact product and local policy. A catalog label is not a substitute for an employer's approved uniform or textile standard.

What EIPNARE's records add

EIPNARE analyzed 666 Amazon reviews of its own products dated April 4, 2025 through April 21, 2026. Fit or sizing appeared in 54.8% and softness in 45.8%. These are not Medline results.

The data explains why "institutional" and "fashion" lines must still be checked on real bodies. A durable fabric can fail when the rise or shoulder is wrong; a soft fabric can fail when it cannot handle the required wash process.

Choose by laundry system first

If a facility launders uniforms, start with its approved product list and temperature requirements. If garments are washed at home, follow the style label. Do not assume AngelStat, AVE, ComfortEase and PerforMax share a care routine.

For group orders, sample the required sizes and lengths in one collection and one color code. For an individual, buy one set before expanding the rotation.
