Cherokee Scrubs Review: Fit, Lines and Who They Suit
Cherokee is useful precisely because it is not one kind of scrub. Workwear Originals covers relaxed classics, Workwear Revolution adds stretch and a softer feel, and Achieve uses a more performance-led approach. A broad "Cherokee runs large" rule ignores those differences.
This review is based on Cherokee's current collection pages. EIPNARE has not conducted a long-term Cherokee wear test. Because EIPNARE sells scrubs, we identify our commercial interest and use EIPNARE customer records only to set the review method.
Use the collection name as the starting point
Cherokee currently highlights Workwear Originals, Workwear Revolution, Achieve, Workwear Originals Ultra and Infinity Pursuit among its ranges. Originals is described as relaxed and dependable, Revolution as soft with added stretch, and Achieve as more tailored and activewear-inspired.
That map is more useful than choosing by logo. Find the collection and style number, then check the fabric blend, fit name and available lengths.
Classic and modern fits solve different problems
A relaxed Workwear style can suit someone who prioritizes room or needs a simple team uniform. A tailored line may suit someone who wants less excess fabric. Neither should be forced into the other's role by sizing up or down.
Measure bust, waist and hip, then test shoulder reach, seated rise, thigh room and inseam. For unisex styles, compare proportions as well as measurements. A smaller unisex size may still be too long while becoming tight at the shoulder.
What EIPNARE's records can support
EIPNARE analyzed 666 Amazon reviews of its own products dated April 4, 2025 through April 21, 2026. Fit or sizing appeared in 54.8% of reviews and softness in 45.8%. This is not Cherokee data.
The records explain why "true to size" is an incomplete verdict. Bodies, collections and intended fits vary. Use the chart for the exact Cherokee product and keep the tags on during a movement test.
Fabric and color consistency
Cherokee collections use different fabric technologies and blends. A softer stretch fabric may drape differently from a classic woven fabric. If an employer requires an exact shade, buy top and pants from the same collection and compare them under neutral light.
For group orders, request or purchase samples in the required color and sizes. Confirm that the full size range is available in the same collection before choosing it as a uniform standard.
Pockets and daily carry
Cherokee offers minimal tops, cargo pants, joggers and utility styles. Count usable pockets and load them with the items you actually carry. Check whether the waistband drops or the fabric pulls across the thigh.
A deep pocket is useful only when its opening is reachable and the item does not interfere with sitting. Build top and pant storage as one system.
Price and value
Entry-level Cherokee pieces can be inexpensive, while newer or performance collections cost more. Compare a complete outfit and include return costs. A lower-priced classic set can be excellent value if the relaxed fit suits you; a premium stretch set can be better value when it is worn more often.
Wash one set according to its label before building a rotation. Check shrinkage, color change, seam twist and recovery. Save the style and color codes for reordering.
